Online dating app Wynk looks to raise mega $$$ during its IPO in the late second quarter, 2017.
The hot new app Wallstreet is in love with – originally the brainchild of Gwen, Michael, Tim, and Yaeri before bringing junior developers Brian, Jinwoo, and Miranda onto the team – is attracting more than just millennials as it continues its run as the most downloaded app of 2017. Wynk has developed a dating app (and site) that works so well that it has successfully targeted everyone between a busy professional and college students alike.
The company has filed to list on Nasdaq under the symbol, “WYNK.” Founders have said they would price their IPO at $6 per share, while offering 20 million shares to raise a maximum of $120 million. Wynk looks to directly compete with other popular dating apps but shows no signs of slowing down as the new kid on the block. It’s not just the pretty colors that have given Wynk a boost in their favor, it’s the story behind it.
Dating. Whether you’re a seasoned vet or a novice, there’s one thing we can all agree on: planning the first date is down right scary. How many times have you gone back and forth telling your date to “pick a date” and you’re “fine with anything”? Maybe a little too often right? Or perhaps you got so nervous about how you would set it all up that you forgot to actually plan for the date itself. Fear no more. Wynk takes the pressure out of date planning by providing you with a fun list of options in your area, thereby reducing the amount of your anxiety involved on a first date! Once you’ve found your match, there’s no pressure to go back and forth and wonder who will make the first move and plan the date. No judging whether or not it’s too soon or too far in the future. Wynk makes it easy. And that’s why it’s on a roll as it continues to broaden its demographics.
It’s planning made easy, and who doesn’t enjoy that…especially in the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Focusing on an area where other dating apps have neglected has helped Wynk users by enhancing their experience off the screen. Once you match up and select a date together, the rest is history (hopefully).
